Jobs on the Big Island There is an some excellent overview information on the employment situation in West Hawaii on the Kona-Kohala Chamber of Commerce website. I could not find anything on the Hilo side regarding employment, but the site appears to be in the process of construction, and it is located on the seat of the island's local government, Hilo. There is no one place to go for a complete picture of the jobs market here on the Big Island, but certainly if you are looking for employment, one place to look is the two major newspapers on the island.
